Re: Export in 4H, 30M time frames

Great, thank you. 30M and 4H is what I need, but like I mentioned, it would be most helpful to have it totally customizable to any time frame you want.

Export in 4H, 30M time frames

Is there a way to export data in the 4 hour (4H) and 30 min (30M) time frames? I noticed that the time frame jumps from 15M to hourly with nothing in between and from hourly to daily with nothing in between. It would be most helpful to select a custom time frame to export data to (e.g. 20M, 30M, 2H,...

How to export GMT times with no Daylight Savings Time (DST)?

I'm trying to export data (about 1 year) as GMT with no daylight savings - as vanilla/pure as possible. I notice that in the "Adjust Timezone" drop down there are 2 possible GMT selections: GMT (Casablanca, Monrovia) and GMT (Greenwich Mean Time, Dublin, Ediburgh...). The first GMT (Casablanca, Monr...

Re: Automated time adjustments based on Daylight Savings Tim

Just to give you an update on this requirements for me - I decided to export all data in GMT using Tickstory. Since I'm using my own strategy testing software that I developed, I just updated it to do the time shifting automatically for different time zones. So it's not so important for me to have T...

Re: Quick export to file, without missing data check

I see your point about confusing people. I don't mind if it still does the check for data on the server but as long as it's super fast. It's not a big deal if you're exporting a few weeks of data. But when you're exporting years of data, it becomes painfully slow to do, especially if you already hav...

Re: Specify folder for exported files

Great, I didn't realize I could do that. So then I guess this feature is already implemented :)

Specify folder for exported files

It would be convenient to set your export folder. Currently, I notice that Tickstory always saves the exported files to the program installation folder (C:\Program Files\Tickstory Lite), even if you specify a different Store location of your tick data files. So it seems like you can set any folder t...

Save file export settings so don't have to specify each time

When doing multiple exports to a file, it would be nice to save all the export settings so you don't have to start from scratch each time. Things like: - start date - end date - timezone - custom bar format - name of output file There could perhaps be export settings files you can save so you can lo...

Quick export to file, without missing data check

It would be convenient if I can switch off the attempt to check for local missing data when exporting to a file. Let's say I want to export the last 5 years of data to different candle bars - 5 min, 15 min, 60 min, 1 hour, 4 hour, etc. Each time I run the export the program checks to see if it has a...
