Re: Add Equity Index tick data to TickStoryLite

Hi Adeller,

If you have the web data source for this information we could potentially add it. If you have data in a file-based format such as CSV, then loading files is a feature we plan to have in the next major version of Tickstory.

Hope this helps.

Re: History issue

Hi Render86,

It is more than likely you are coming across the FXT size limitation that MT4 has. See this post for details:

Re: Need help with Metatrader Info

Hi Ianmae, As a newbie, we would recommend you refer to the section on "Customising MT4 export settings" in the Tickstory manual (see http://www.tickstory.com/help/tickstorylite/). The instructions will tell you how to export your broker's terminal settings (such as leverage) into a config which can...

Re: Make FXT read-only dosn't work

Hi Madk,

The "read-only" functionality has not changed between version 1.1 & 1.2. Perhaps this post helps:

Re: Slippage error in USDJPY data for 2013

Hi Jag45,

Tickstory does not sell the TDS and nor does it charge for 'Tickstory Lite'. Please check what product you have purchased. The only person we know of that vends a product called 'TDS' is Birt: www.eareview.net.

Re: Help needed. Please

Hi Voly,

Can you please try another EA to see if that works? Otherwise the next step to trouble-shoot would maybe to add some lines to the EA to print out a message so you know it's doing something.

Hope this helps.

Re: Slippage error in USDJPY data for 2013

Hi Jag45, Seems you are using Birt's TDS. If you have the slippage feature enabled, I assume that's what's causing this? Also refer to the MT4 manual regarding Error 138: http://docs.mql4.com/trading/OrderSend Make sure your EA is refreshing prices before placing the order with RefreshRates(). Regar...

Re: HST files in live account

Hi Jeff, To answer your questions: 1) Yes, you can just use the HST files which are used by MT4 to display charts. 2) Both FXT and HST are generated from the tick data. The HST files contain the bar-level information and FXT more accurate tick-level information. 3) The broker should only add new dat...
