Hi Trader2384 - the launcher prevents MT4 from overwriting the (FXT) data that you export with Tickstory. Without it, MT4 will not use the exported data and will prompt with an error.
Regards.

Hi Trader2384,
There is an MT4 limitation of how large your exported file can be. Please refer to this post for more: http://www.tickstory.com/forum/viewtopi ... 348&p=1448

Re: Tick Data from other sources?
Hi OGFx,
Not sure if we understood the question correctly but if you are asking whether you can export your existing broker data in your MT4, then you can do this via the History Center.
Hope this helps.

Hi Trader2384,
You can verify if the daily data is exported simply by going to File->Offline chart->EURUSD (Daily) within MT4.
Hope this helps.

Hi Milanos,
Have you launched MT4 by pressing F8 in Tickstory? If so, can you try pressing it again once MT4 is loaded to see if there's some sort of timing issue?
Thanks.

Re: Tick Data History Date is mess up !!!
Hi Darren, To be able to assist you, you are going to have to move to at least Build 509. It is becoming very difficult to cater for all the various builds out there and 509 is the minimum we will test with. Also, if you are exporting to CSV first, it should be relatively simple to check the CSV fil...

Re: Tick Data History Date is mess up !!!
Hi Darren, A few questions/points to hopefully help you your issue: - What is the reason for using such an old Build of MT4? The more recent builds (such as 509) reportedly allow up to 4GB of test data. In addition, we recommend you upgrade your MT4 as we don't typically test nor support Builds belo...

Re: compile - bug
Hi Gooly - we haven't seen this occur before. From your description it sounds like it's a problem with MT4 - perhaps the later Builds have addressed the issue for you.
