Re: Problem in settings
Hi Ticktroll, It doesn't appear that you are using the data you have exported from Tickstory. Make sure you have selected the correct "MT4 Server" in your Tickstory settings - if you have two separate servers it is possible that you have downloaded to the incorrect one. In MT4, you can check the his...

Re: time zone
Hi Rp75 - I'm not sure what you're trying to do since there is no instruction to copy/paste data. Could you please follow the steps outlined in the quick-start video to make sure you get a correct back-test first:

Re: MT4 Data Editor FXT overwritten
Hi Geektrader,
It sounds like the launcher has not been applied to MT4. Please check that you are running the launcher on the same MT4 installation as the files you are editing.
Thanks.

Re: data storage and use from external HD
Hi Gabriele, The MT4 installation directory is where you have installed your Metatrader. It is the folder you select when going to Tickstory File->Settings->MT4 Settings. If you are wanting to move this directory to your external HDD then you should be able to, however this may depend on your Metatr...

Hi Geektrader, Thanks for your feedback. Our main focus is developing the database capabilities of Tickstory, so it deviates a bit to be looking into how to improve MT4. Perhaps if you ask this question on an MT4 forum someone may be able to assist? It could also be an enhancement that Birt would co...

Re: No official support is available!
Hi Atrm63, This notification is for informational purposes only and does not affect the behaviour of the launcher. If you are able to press the Strategy Tester 'Test' button and get 99.9% in your back-test, the launcher has done it's job (sometimes the title bar is updated by MT4 which means you don...

Hi Tcferreira,
Please refer to the suggestions the post - moving directory is one of the options to resolve the error.

Re: Is it possible to launch twice MT4 for backtesting?
Hi Tcferreira, The "invalid location" error is discussed here: http://www.tickstory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=237 Just to temper your expectations, the feature to allow multiple instances on the same MT4 installation is not imminent. Of course, if you need it now, Tickstory does support Birt's T...
