Re: Translation / Language

Hi Costalomo, Thanks for your feedback. We would definitely appreciate if you are able to refine the Spanish translations for us. If you can PM us your details we can send the translation information to you. In the mean-time, it is possible to delete the "es" directory in the Tickstory installation ...

Re: Rookie question on "volume"

Hi Eyagan, The numbers are expressed in millions, so hence the fractional amounts. The volumes are summed for each bar, so hence the rather "odd" looking fractional volumes. A standard lot in Dukascopy is 1m, so effectively it is showing the number of contracts on the bid & ask. Of course, depending...

Re: Tick-Volume

Hi Eyagan, The numbers are expressed in millions, so hence the fractional amounts. The volumes are summed for each bar, so hence the rather "odd" looking fractional volumes. As Trickster mentioned, the MT4 concept of volume is actually the number of ticks in the bar, so we may be changing this soon ...

Re: Automating downloading of data

Hi Bluebox,

Thanks for your feedback and your suggestion. We are planning such a feature in the revamped version of Tickstory which should be able to satisfy this requirement.

Hope this helps!

Re: MT4/tickstory/TDS

Hi Gabriele, Just to add to Experienced_tester's helpful response, please note that if you prematurely stop an export then Tickstory does not have the opportunity to fully complete the process - this means it will not mark the data as read-only, nor will the exported data be complete/usable. Regardi...

Re: lost FXT files

Hi Experienced_tester, Thanks for confirming the details. We're obviously asking some questions to ensure there's nothing elementary going wrong here - we haven't seen the behaviour you are describing before. It would be unusual for it to be related to the .NET Framework installation, but we'll wait...

Re: lost FXT files

Hi Experienced_tester, Just to let you know that we have done further tests on this to try export the data to a USB stick in a similar setup that you have described. Unfortunately we are still unable to reproduce the issue you are reporting - the files are correctly marked as 'read-only'. Can you pl...

Re: backtest stops immediatly upon starting

Hi Janko,

Yes, it is mandatory to launch MT4 from Tickstory otherwise it will not use the tick data correctly and you will encounter errors.
