Tickstory

Hello,
where are the data stored when I download the data from Dukascopy with Tickstory ? Because I tried do deinstall Tickstory but I still have much lower disk space available after I finished some data downloads from yesterday. Where I can find those data ? I looked everywhere but I cannot find them.

Hi Andreas,

There are two main locations where you should check for large amounts of data:

- The MT4 Data Folder: In Metatrader go to File->Open Data Folder and then browse to tester/history. You can remove *.fxt files which are the tick data exports. If you delete these, you will not be able to do tick data back-tests in Metatrader. You can regenerate them again from Tickstory, however.

- The Dukascopy Store Folder: In Tickstory, go to File->Settings->Dukascopy Store folder and note the location of data files. These files are the cached tick data files. If you delete these, they will need to be downloaded again from the internet.
