Copy and paste data from terminal to terminal

Would it be possible to download data onto 1 mt4 terminal and then just copy and paste that data into the rest of my mt4 terminals ? Or do I have to download each separately ?

Hi Gsolomos,

You should be able to do this provided that the symbol name is exactly the same in the other terminals. You will also need to make sure that you copy both the HST and FXT files, otherwise you will likely run into problems. Also make sure that the terminals are not running at the time of the copy.

Where does the HST go and where would the FXT go ?

Hi Gsolomos,

The HST would go in the <MT4 Data folder>\history\<broker servername> and the FXT in the <MT4 Data folder>\tester\history folder. Please see the Quick MT4 Primer section in our manual for more details.
