Data Download error - How to fix?

Hello ,

I try to download the data with the tickstory software but i got some errors.

Code: Select all

TimeMessage

07-01-2015 15:20Error occurred during download: Unable to connect to the remote server (URL: http://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/GBPJPY/2012/01/04/00h_ticks.bi5)

TimeMessage

07-01-2015 14:33Error occurred during download: Unable to connect to the remote server (URL: http://www.dukascopy.com/datafeed/GBPJPY/2011/02/11/00h_ticks.bi5)
Did this mean that the particular data is now corrupted or is missing?

Should I redownload the entire data again?

Have anyboady an idea how to fix this?

Hi Ticker,

This error usually occurs when there is some fault with your internet connection (eg. disconnection, too many simultaneous requests, etc). Just make sure your settings are correct by firstly going to File->Settings and 'Test' your Dukascopy settings. If all is ok, the next step is to use the 'Download' function to re-check all the existing data in your local database. The system will go through the specified date range again and only download the data that may be missing. If you still receive errors, please review them and again ensure your internet connection is working before repeating the above.
