Resolving 50% modelling quality

Post by tickstory »

Hi Blott,

There is a trouble-shooting check-list under the topic "I am getting a launcher error when starting MT4" here:

http://tickstory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=613

In particular, if you are getting an error message from the launcher, make sure you have applied your license in Help->License.

Hope this helps.

I am not getting any type of launcher error message. Everything seems to fire up ok, except there is no indication in the MT4 heading that this was launched by Tickstory and I only get 50% modelling quality when I run strat tester on Daily time frame.

I am trying it again, but designating the current working directory as the data store. See how that works.

Any further clues please?

Hi Blott,

The check-list covers every scenario any user has ever had, so it's likely something may have been inadvertently missed.
Of course, make sure you have exported your data (ensuring you have correctly "mapped" to your MT4 symbol is necessary - for eg. if your MT4 symbol is named EURUSDm, you will need to use the "map" function as described in the manual).
Maybe if you can give a screenshot of what you are seeing we might be able to assist further.

Thanks.
P.S. We will create a new thread for this discussion.
