Tickstory

Can anyone help me with this MT4 backtesting error issue?

I'm trying to backtest xauusd on TF= 1min, 5min, and 15min.

My MT5 backtest is 99.9.

My results on MT4 are blank with exception of Bar counts.

Journal has the following error message: Test Generator Error....... tester/history/XAUUSD5_fxt "is read-only".

Hi Gary,

As long as you are getting 99.9% modelling quality, it means you are correctly using the tick data you exported via Tickstory.
The notification you are getting about "read-only fxts" is expected and is not an error. Please ignore it.
