Most likely cause of this is an invalid/unavailable .NET v3.5 installation. Please check that you have .NET v3.5 installed and try again.

Hi Gooly,

As you pointed out, Tickstory does not do anything that requires admin rights. This seems to be a Windows request that the application requires admin for some reason.
We will put an item to address this in a future version.

Hi Blott,

If nothing is happening, just check your Journal/log tab to see if any error is being reported. As for deleting the history, you can just re-export the symbol and it will overwrite the existing data.
