insufficient data

Hello,
we are unable to get data with for the periods as per description here:

for example we are unable to get data in Gold before 2013. The Error is 404 File not found.
another problem we have is the NASDAQ csv file. it just contains data until 2014.05.09.

We use version 1.7.4

Hi Bob,

It appears Dukascopy may have updated their databases for Gold (XAUUSD) and the data now starts on 4th May 2003. The website has been updated to reflect this.
Regarding NASDAQ, the database does start from 2011 although the data is patchy, perhaps reflecting the actual trading that was done on Dukascopy at the time. There is some data during April 2012, for example. The data is provided as-is.

after checking we were able to get the data for gold (XAUUSD). We originally used gold (AUCMDUSD). So thats solved.

Yes thats right. But there is no data after 2014.05.09.

there is no data after that. No data for 2015, no data for 2016.
We need data for this period like in your description.

Hi Bob,

We have tried downloading the last week for USATECHIDXUSD and there is data available. I suggest you go to your "Dukascopy Store Folder" and delete all the years with missing data under the "USATECHIDXUSD" folder structure and then re-download it again. It may be the case that you attempted to download the data at a time where Dukascopy were performing database maintenance, resulting in no data.

I do hope this resolves your issue, but just a reminder that (as per our user-agreement) we provide data as-is with all its faults. As part of this, Dukascopy also stipulates numerous important conditions for the use of their data which you can find by browsing their website. We obviously try to provide the most up-to-date information, but this can change without notice.

I think our fault was to use USACOMIDXUSD instead of USATECHIDXUSD. We have data now.
