How to set fixed spread in MT5 when exporting Tickstory bars and tick data

Hello,

When i export bars and ticks data from Tickstory to MT5 the default is with floating spread, i want to use it with fixed spread. Can you assist how to set this?

Hi Vanyo,

Good question. It seems that when you create a custom symbol in MT5, you can specify the "Spread" in the property of the symbol. I assume all you need to do is set this from the default "floating" spread to a numeric number that represents the fixed spread.

The Metatrader 5 manual might help elaborate some more.

Thanks for your answer, i was thinking that it might go this way and you confirm too, i`ll work out reading the MT5 manaul and see how it goes.
