Variable spread not working

Hello, in metatrader 4 strategy tester journal tab, I can see that variable spread is enabled but when I change the spread value manually like in the attachment, the outcome changes a lot. Normally when variable spread is enabled, changing spread manually shouldnt effect anything if Im not mistaken.

EDIT: Tried opening as administrator but still the same.

EDIT 2: Its fixed now, the cause was exporting tick data using Mq4 script. When I use "map to" its working fine.
