using different MT4 implementation

Hi,

using licensed Tickstory it runs very well with original MT4 directly downloaded from Metaquotes. Now, after several weeks, i tried to use the MT4 implementation from IG Markets and get a message like "serial number deactivated". Why ? How can i get Tickstory run with a different MT4 "version" ?

Hi Torsten,

This isn't a Tickstory message. It is more than likely this error is coming from an expired version of the Tick Data Suite (TDS) that you have installed in the MT4 folder. If you simply delete the TDS.exe that exists in the MT4 installation folder, this should resolve the issue.
