MT 4 940 not finding fxt files

Hi,

I have been using TIckstory for a while and have mostly achieved 99% modelling quality. However I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and since then have been having multiple issues with regards to getting it working.

I am able to launch MT 4 from Tickstory (After generating the fxt files) but as soon as I start the backtester and gives me a "could not connect to server" message and then defaults to 90% modelling quality.

On another PC I am running I am getting a message TestGenerator: actual tick file "C:\Meta Trader 4 - Instance 5 - Tick\tester\history\EURUSD15_0.fxt" found
and that then gives me 99% quality. On the second PC I am still running an older version of MT4 (7.65).

Any ideas that could help me ? Is it possibel that I need to revert back to a previous version of MT4 maybe ? (MT 920 maybe). I have the latest version of Tickstory installed.

Yes thank you has been resolved. issue was solved by :
3) If you are using Windows 7 or are receiving a prompt for administrator access when you launch, run Tickstory as Administrator by right-clicking the icon and selecting "Run As Administrator".

Not sure if there is a log file that TIckstory writes out but would be usefull to write out some errors to a log to make troubleshooting easier.
